Welcome to the parish website of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church!

It is my hope and prayer that you find the information contained in this website helpful in learning about our beautiful parish community nestled in the fertile and green pastures of Richland county.  Established in 1833, Sacred Heart Church has grown to include approximately 600 registered parishioners and is currently a sister parish with St. Joseph Catholic Church in Crestline, a community encompassing over 1,300 registered parishioners.  Both parishes are proud to actively support vibrant elementary schools that are committed to academic excellence, authentic Catholic teaching, and strong moral and personal formation.   Sacred Heart of Jesus  School  has the awesome designation as being the oldest Catholic school in the Diocese of Toledo - quite a historical accomplishment!

Whether you are a long-time parishioner or a new member interested in becoming more involved in the parish, or someone discerning whether to join our community, I invite you to look more closely at the faith community of Sacred Heart of Jesus.  We are a community of believers from all walks of life who are committed to working together in growing in faith and building the Kingdom of God.  I am confident that once you walk through the doors of our awe-inspiring Church, you will feel the tangible sense of community and sense the real faith that exists in our parish.
